President’s MessageI
I think that we are all ready for Spring this year. Let’s hope that on March 20
th
when
Spring officially begins that we will all rejoice with the sunshine and warmth. Le
Radici’s first foray into wine pairing was a great success. The two days last month
that the club hosted The Tenuta Torciano Winery was well received and well
attended. Most comments were very favorable and mostly commenting on how the
club looked and the way the Sommelier-Instructor, Antonio, presented the
different wines and extra virgin olive oil for our tasting enjoyment. This went quite
well with the food pairings that Kim and Staff prepared. Thank you all who had a
hand in setting our club house up and preparing and delivering the food out to the
tables. The remodeling is finally getting close to being finished. The backslash on
the kitchen walls was completed by Tony Ricci and Tony Berlingieri. About the only
things left on our list of things to do; Are to cut the hole for the stove’s exhaust fan
through to the roof and blocking the air from going upstairs on the staircase.
Hopefully these will be done soon. The bar electric service will also be completed
after we get our bar license. The next big project before the Festa is cleaning out the
garage and outside property which should be scheduled soon. Updates will be sent
out to inform you about when this will occur. I do hope that we get a few more
volunteers to help and show how proud we are of this facility. Saluti da, Pat
